Global Warming is NOT a Hoax

Global Warming is Not a Hoax. Our planet is becoming more and more handicapped each day and yet there is still a sizeable chunk of the population that thinks this whole ordeal is a hoax. However it is in the facts. Record temperatures, rising ocean levels, declining arctic sea ice,, are all outcomes of this so called hoax. If we continue to live in the carefree way we do today we will eventually destroy our planet. Carbon Dioxide level: Carbon Dioxide records are off the charts, each day we are adding more and more Co2 to our atmosphere, destroying it. The proof is in the pudding, or smog, major cities such as Delhi, Beijing, Patna, are barely visible due to the overwhelming amount of smog. The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is very likely human-induced and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented in the past 1,300 years. Our once luscious blue skies will turn brown, and yet some will still believe that this is a hoax.

We’ve all dreamed of one day traveling to the amazing coastal cities such as Barcelona in Spain, Cape Town in South Africa, or Honolulu in Hawaii. The reality is that these dream may never happen, if the sea levels continue to rise as fast as they are now, these cities will eventually be destroyed and engulfed. The U.N studies say that Global sea level rose about 17 centimeters (6.7 inches) in the last century. The rate in the last decade, however, is nearly double that and yet some will still believe that this is hoax. It’s currently November, winter is fast approaching and so should cold weather. But just the other day L.A smashed its monthly temperature record in October and Palm Desert is sitting at nice 90 degrees. It’s undeniable that the temperature is much higher than it should be in November. 10 of the warmest years have occurred in the past 12 years. And yet some will still believe that this is a hoax. Everything is the connected, the rising carbon dioxide levels have let in more sun rays, which caused the global temperature to rise, and to which the oceans have absorbed much of this increased heat.

According to National Geographic the Pacific ocean has heated up 15x faster than previous historical rates. And yet some will believe that this is a hoax. Our planet earth is truly a brilliant home. Home not only to us humans but to every animal and plant out there. But sadly these animals and plants are losing their homes, global warming has caused them to lose their habitats. How can we expect the plants and animals of this planet to blossom if they don’t have a place to? Mike Huckabee said it perfectly “The most important thing about global warming is this. Whether humans are responsible for the bulk of climate change is going to be left to the scientists, but it's all of our responsibility to leave this planet in better shape for the future generations than we found it.”.
